The AXIS D4200-VE Network Strobe Speaker is a robust, all-in-one audio-visual signaling device designed for both indoor and outdoor environments. It integrates a powerful 3-inch coaxial dynamic cone speaker with a built-in microphone, supporting two-way audio for live communication and prerecorded announcements. This device is equipped with a multi-color LED strobe offering nine selectable colors (red, green, blue, amber, pink, turquoise, purple, yellow, and white) and multiple light patterns, allowing for highly customizable visual alerts. Its audio system is powered by a 7W Class D amplifier and features pre-configured digital signal processing for clear, high-quality sound. The speaker can deliver up to 102 dB sound pressure and covers a 140° area, making it suitable for large spaces. The D4200-VE is IP66-, NEMA 4X-, and IK09-rated, ensuring durability against harsh weather and vandalism, and it supports a wide temperature range for reliable operation in challenging conditions.
Functionally, the D4200-VE is designed for seamless integration into security and operational systems. It supports AXIS Audio Manager for zone management, content scheduling, and health monitoring, and can be triggered by other network devices such as cameras, radars, third-party sensors, or video analytics. The device also features AXIS Audio Analytics, which can detect critical sounds like breaking glass or screams and automatically generate alerts. Connectivity is streamlined with dual Gigabit Ethernet ports and Power over Ethernet (PoE) passthrough, allowing the device to power additional equipment. The D4200-VE is compatible with SIP-based platforms and mass notification solutions, making it versatile for emergency communications, intruder deterrence, and operational messaging. Its all-in-one design reduces installation and maintenance costs, and optional accessories like a sunshield further enhance its adaptability for outdoor use.
